Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter Bolt Action Rifle, #G341360, .338 Win. mag. cal., 26'' barrel, blue finish, from the factory without sights, top of receiver drilled and tapped for scope base, with bolt-mounted safety; one-piece checkered pistol-grip walnut stock with an oil finish, cheekpiece, black rubber Winchester recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Approx. 98% original finish remains, and metal surfaces rate as near excellent overall; right side of barrel near the ''Classic Sporter'' with an approx. quarter-inch long noticeable scratch; barrel address with nice raised edges; triggerguard and bolt handle with edgewear accounting for most of the finish loss. Stock is serviceable but shows several dings and scratches from storage, no chips or cracks; good overall. Smooth action, clean bore with excellent rifling. Est.: $350-$550. (Modern)
